Artistic Prints: Unique Art Inspired by Music and Culture
I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. I drew sharks and divers for a year after I saw Jaws. I drew knights in battle from Excalibur; I drew soldiers and military vehicles from war movies I watched with my father. Star Wars changed my life, and I was fascinated with Darth Vader and drawing spaceships.
Through my teens and twenties, I hung around with bands and other artists, doing show flyers, cassette covers, banners, etc. I eventually went to college for a few semesters as well as a trade school for Graphic Design.
I got my certificate and finally, I got a job working as a designer. I had a small office, a drawing table, and three other designers were eventually hired to work under me. It was my dream job…and it was a nightmare.
I left design work for a more mundane occupation that paid the bills while I raised my kids. I’ve been drawing and painting the entire time. I enjoy it, it’s how I relax. I have over 300 folders f of artwork, my home is covered in paintings.
I started Rough Sketch Designs years ago, I own the URL, I formed the LLC. So, here it is, this is my portfolio website. It contains all of my most recent pieces, and as I get time, I intend to add older pieces as well as collaborations with other artists. I’ve been building a portfolio for thirty years and I’ve been polishing and turning my art into items people may want to buy.
I’m offering prints, phone cases, coffee mugs, journals, notebooks, and t-shirts. All are available in my stores, which are linked in the section called Links and Stores. I've sampled the quality of the products and found myself impressed, all of which are linked in this site.

I inherited a lot of music from my older brother and sisters, and the love of that music has stayed with me all my life. My collection features not only classic rock and punk legends but also pieces of popular culture artwork, including music art prints and even custom pet portraits that beautifully complement the vibe.
